How to Make Angry Pasta

  1. Cook 4 slices of bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crisp. Remove with a slotted spoon and place on paper towels to drain, reserving 1 tablespoon of bacon grease.
  2. Add 2 cloves of minced garlic to the skillet with the reserved bacon grease and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Stir in 1 (28 ounce) can of crushed tomatoes, 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil, and 1/2 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes (adjust to your spice preference). Bring to a boil.
