Ingredients for Bacon Wrapped Green Beans
- Fresh Green Beans
- 6 slices bacon, cut in half
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
How to Make Bacon Wrapped Green Beans
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Wash and trim the green beans.
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add green beans and cook for 8 minutes, or until crisp-tender. Drain and set aside.
- While beans are cooking, cook bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until almost crisp (about 5-7 minutes). Remove bacon to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess grease.
- In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, brown sugar, garlic salt, and soy sauce.
- Lay out bacon slices. Place approximately 12 green beans onto each half-slice of bacon.
- Wrap bacon tightly around the green beans and secure with a toothpick.
- Place bacon-wrapped green beans on an ungreased baking sheet.
- Brush generously with the butter mixture.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until bacon is crispy and the glaze is bubbly.
