How to Make Baked Sweet Potato With Apples
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Peel and cube 2 large sweet potatoes (about 1.5 lbs total). Peel and chop 1 medium apple (about 1 cup chopped).
- In a large bowl, combine the sweet potatoes, apple, 2 tablespoons brown sugar, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, and a pinch of salt.
- Melt 2 tablespoons butter. Grease a medium-sized baking dish (approximately 8x8 inches) with 1 tablespoon of the melted butter.
- Pour the sweet potato and apple mixture into the prepared baking dish.
