How to Make Basmati Rice With Nuts And Spices
- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
- Add 1 medium onion, chopped, and 2 cloves garlic, minced. Sauté for 5 minutes, or until softened.
- Stir in 1 cup of basmati rice and 1/2 cup mixed nuts (almonds, cashews, pecans – your choice!). Toast for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
