Ingredients for David Lynch S Quinoa

  • 1 cup quinoa
  • 1 ½ cups water
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Vegetable Bouillon Cube
  • Broccoli Spear
  • Braggs Liquid Aminos
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

How to Make David Lynch S Quinoa

  1. Rinse 1 cup of quinoa thoroughly in a fine-mesh strainer until the water runs clear.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine the rinsed quinoa, 1 ½ cups of water, 1 vegetable bouillon cube (or 1 teaspoon of bouillon powder), and a pinch of sea salt.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat.
  4. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low, cover the saucepan, and simmer for 7 minutes.
  5. Add 1 cup of chopped broccoli florets, cover, and simmer for another 3 minutes.
  6. Remove the lid and check the quinoa. If there is still water remaining, continue to cook for another 5 minutes, or until all the water is absorbed and the quinoa is tender.
  7. Fluff the cooked quinoa with a fork.
  8. Transfer the quinoa to a bowl.
  9. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon of Bragg's Liquid Aminos and 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil. Adjust to your taste.
  10. Pair with your favorite David Lynch film – enjoy the surreal culinary experience!

Chef's Tip for Extra Flavor

Small additions can make a big impact! Try a sprinkle of fresh herbs, a dash of your favorite spice blend, or a squeeze of citrus just before serving to really enhance the flavors of your dish.
