Ingredients for Lattice Biscuit Slice

  • Cream Cheese
  • Unsalted Butter
  • Caster Sugar
  • Gelatin
  • Boiling Water
  • 18-24 lattice biscuits (approximately 2 packages)

How to Make Lattice Biscuit Slice

  1. Line an 8x8 inch baking tin with foil, leaving an overhang on the sides to help lift out the slice.
  2. Arrange 9-12 lattice biscuits (depending on size) face down in the bottom of the prepared tin.
  3. In a food processor or with an electric mixer, combine all remaining ingredients until completely smooth.
  4. Pour the creamy mixture evenly over the layer of lattice biscuits.
  5. Top with another layer of 9-12 lattice biscuits, arranged face up.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, until completely set.
  7. Carefully lift the slice from the tin using the foil overhang.
  8. Cut into squares or strips and serve.
  9. Store leftover slices in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Chef's Tip for Extra Flavor

Small additions can make a big impact! Try a sprinkle of fresh herbs, a dash of your favorite spice blend, or a squeeze of citrus just before serving to really enhance the flavors of your dish.
