How to Make Noodles Continental

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook 1 pound egg noodles according to package directions. Rinse under cold water and drain well.
  3. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Sauté 1 cup chopped onions and 8 ounces sliced mushrooms until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. In a large bowl, whisk together 2 large eggs. Add 1 cup cottage cheese, 1/2 cup sour cream, 2 tablespoons chopped pimientos, 1 clove minced garlic, 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, a dash of hot sauce (to taste), and 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese.
