How to Make Asparagus Pasta Supreme
- Cook pasta according to package directions in a large pot of boiling salted water.
- While pasta cooks, snap off the tough ends of 1 pound asparagus spears.
- Steam or boil asparagus in lightly salted water until tender-crisp (about 5-7 minutes).
- Meanwhile, melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a medium pan over medium heat.
- Drain the cooked asparagus and cut the spears into 1-inch pieces. Add asparagus to the melted butter in the pan.
