How to Make Cheesy Tuna Casserole
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook 1 pound elbow macaroni according to package directions, but use 3/4 cup milk instead of the recommended amount.
- While macaroni cooks, melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add 1/2 cup chopped onion, 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper, and 1/2 cup chopped celery. Cook until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked macaroni, cooked vegetables, 2 (5 ounce) cans tuna (drained), 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup, 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese, 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper.
