How to Make Double Layer Jello Jigglers Knox Blox

  1. In a heat-proof bowl, sprinkle 1 (3 ounce) package of unflavored Knox gelatin over 1/2 cup of cold water. Let it bloom for 5 minutes.
  2. In a separate bowl, sprinkle 1 (3 ounce) package of flavored gelatin (your choice of flavor and color) over 1/2 cup of cold water. Let it bloom for 5 minutes.
  3. In a saucepan, heat 1 cup of boiling water over low heat. Slowly add the bloomed unflavored gelatin, stirring constantly until completely dissolved.
  4. In a separate saucepan, heat 1 cup of boiling water over low heat. Slowly add the bloomed flavored gelatin, stirring constantly until completely dissolved.

  6. Pour the unflavored gelatin mixture into a 13x9 inch baking pan. Refrigerate until almost set (about 2 hours).
  7. Add 1/2 cup of heavy whipping cream to the flavored gelatin mixture and stir until smooth.
  8. Carefully pour the flavored gelatin mixture over the set unflavored layer. Refrigerate for at least 2 more hours, or until completely firm.
