How to Make Traffic Light Cooler
- Fill a chilled pilsner glass almost to the top with ice cubes.
- Gently pour 1.5 oz of Midori melon liqueur over the ice to create the green layer. Try to avoid disturbing the ice too much.
- Add 1 oz of Tequila to the Midori, allowing it to settle on top of the Midori to create the second layer.
- Add 0.75 oz of sour mix. It will sink to the bottom.
- Slowly pour 1.5 oz of orange juice down the side of the glass to create a distinct yellow layer. Use a spoon on the back of the glass to help the layers separate.
- Carefully float 1 oz of sloe gin on top to create the red layer. Pour it very slowly over the back of a spoon to prevent mixing.
- Garnish with a maraschino cherry, a lemon wheel, and a lime wheel.
