- Pour the caramel mixture evenly over the pecans.
- Bake for 15-17 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the caramel is bubbly.
- Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle the entire surface with 1 cup (170g) semi-sweet chocolate morsels.
- Let stand for 2-3 minutes to allow the chocolate to soften slightly.
- Gently swirl the chocolate with a knife or offset spatula, leaving some morsels whole for texture.
- Let cool completely on a wire rack before cutting into squares.
