Gently clean and dry one 750ml vodka bottle.
Add 1 cup of fresh or frozen lychees (about 15-20 lychees) to the vodka bottle.
Fill the bottle halfway (approximately 375ml) with high-quality vodka.
Add enough lychee juice to fill the bottle to just below the neck (approximately 375ml).
Seal the bottle tightly and let it sit at room temperature for 2 weeks, gently shaking the bottle once or twice a day.
After 2 weeks, strain the vodka through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a clean bottle, discarding the lychees and solids.
Serve chilled in shot glasses or over ice. Garnish with a fresh lychee or a lychee slice if desired.
Makes approximately 4-12 servings, depending on the shot size.
