How to Make Lychee Vodka

  1. Gently clean and dry one 750ml vodka bottle.
  2. Add 1 cup of fresh or frozen lychees (about 15-20 lychees) to the vodka bottle.
  3. Fill the bottle halfway (approximately 375ml) with high-quality vodka.
  4. Add enough lychee juice to fill the bottle to just below the neck (approximately 375ml).
  5. Seal the bottle tightly and let it sit at room temperature for 2 weeks, gently shaking the bottle once or twice a day.
  6. After 2 weeks, strain the vodka through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a clean bottle, discarding the lychees and solids.
  7. Serve chilled in shot glasses or over ice. Garnish with a fresh lychee or a lychee slice if desired.
  8. Makes approximately 4-12 servings, depending on the shot size.
