How to Make Almost Taco Bell Famous Tacos In Our House
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Brown 1 lb ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.
- Add 1 (15-ounce) can of refried beans to the skillet.
- Stir in 2 tablespoons of your favorite taco seasoning.
- Add 2 cloves minced garlic, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper. Heat through, stirring occasionally, until beans are heated all the way through (about 5 minutes). Remove from heat.
- While the meat and bean mixture simmers, lightly brown 12 hard or soft taco shells according to package directions. Alternatively, you can bake them in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes for crispier shells.
