How to Make Baby's Easy Fruit Snacks

  1. In a medium bowl, mash 2 ripe bananas until completely smooth.
  2. Sprinkle 1 packet (3 oz) of unflavored gelatin over the mashed bananas and let sit for 1 minute to bloom.
  3. In a medium saucepan, heat 1 cup of your baby's favorite fruit juice (apple, pear, or mixed berry work well) and 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce over medium heat until boiling.
  4. Remove from heat and carefully pour the hot fruit juice mixture into the bowl with the mashed bananas and gelatin.
  5. Stir constantly for 4-5 minutes until the gelatin is completely dissolved and the mixture is smooth.
  6. Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking pan. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until completely firm.
  7. Once firm, cut into bite-sized pieces and serve. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
