How to Make Apple Cranberry Mold

  1. In a large bowl, bloom 1 (3 ounce) package of unflavored gelatin in 1/2 cup of boiling apple juice for 2 minutes, or until completely dissolved. Stir constantly.
  2. Stir in 1 cup of cranberry juice cocktail.
  3. Gently fold in 1 cup of finely chopped apples (about 1 medium apple).
  4. Pour the mixture into a 4-cup mold.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
  6. To unmold: Dip the mold in warm water for about 15 seconds.
  7. Gently loosen the gelatin around the edges using your fingers (slightly moistened with warm water).
  8. Place a moistened serving plate on top of the mold.
  9. Invert the mold and plate together.
  10. Holding the mold and plate together, gently shake to release the mold.
  11. Carefully remove the mold, and center the dessert on the plate.
