Zubereitung von Easy Chili Crockpot
- Brown 1 lb ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.
- Add 1 medium onion (chopped), 3 packets chili seasoning mix, and 1 teaspoon cumin to the skillet. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the onions are softened and the seasonings are fragrant.
- While the beef mixture cooks, rinse and drain 2 (15-ounce) cans of kidney beans.
- Add the drained kidney beans and 1 (28-ounce) can of diced tomatoes (undrained) to your slow cooker.
- Add the browned beef mixture to the slow cooker.
- Pour in approximately 2 cups of vegetable juice (from a 46 oz can). Use less for a thicker chili or more for a thinner consistency.
- Cook on low for 2-3 hours, or on high for 1-1.5 hours, or until heated through and flavors have melded.
- Serve hot, topped with your favorite chili fixings, such as shredded cheese, crushed crackers, Fritos corn chips, or cornbread.
