  8. Spread 1 cup (240ml) hot fudge or chocolate sauce over the ice cream.
  9. Freeze for 1 hour.
  10. Refrigerate the remaining chocolate sauce.
  11. After 1 hour of freezing, spread 2 cups (475ml) strawberry ice cream over the chocolate sauce. Top with sliced pineapple.
  12. Gently warm the reserved chocolate sauce.
  13. Cut the dessert into squares. Top each serving with whipped cream, maraschino cherries, chopped nuts, and a drizzle of warmed chocolate sauce.
