  3. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  4. Grease and flour a 20cm round springform tin. Line the base with baking parchment.
  5. Cut the cooled orange in half and remove any pips or seeds.
  6. Puree the orange in a food processor with 5 tablespoons (approximately 75ml) of the microwaved orange liquid until completely smooth.
  7. Add 150g caster sugar, 150g melted dark chocolate (70% cocoa solids or higher), 4 large egg yolks, and 1 teaspoon baking powder to the food processor. Process until well combined.
  8. In a separate bowl, beat 4 large egg whites until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the egg whites into the chocolate mixture.
  9. Pour batter into the prepared springform tin and spread evenly.
  10. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a skewer inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs attached. Cover the cake with foil after 30 minutes to prevent over-browning.
  11. Let the cake cool completely in the tin before releasing and serving. Dust with powdered sugar, if desired.
