  5. Carefully pour off the golden liquid, leaving the milky sediment behind. Strain the golden liquid through a piece of clean, fine muslin cloth into a heatproof bowl to remove any remaining oregano or impurities.
  6. Discard the milky sediment and the oregano sachet.
  7. Transfer the clarified butter to a hot, sterilized glass jar.
