How to Make Scoopies

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Using a sharp knife, carefully cut a 1/4-inch border around the inside of each bagel half, leaving a sturdy shell.
  3. Gently scoop out the interior of the bagels using a spoon and your fingers, reserving the scooped-out bread for another use (croutons, bread crumbs!).
  4. Place the hollowed-out bagel halves on a baking sheet.
  5. Toast the bagels for 5-7 minutes, or until lightly golden and crispy.
  6. While the bagels toast, prepare your favorite salad (egg salad, tuna salad, chicken salad, etc.).
  7. Fill each toasted bagel half generously with your chosen salad.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy your Palm Springs culinary adventure!
