Como fazer Apple Pie Filling

  1. Peel, quarter, and core 1 kg Granny Smith apples. Slice the quarters into approximately 1cm thick pieces.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine the sliced apples with 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, 4 whole cloves, and 2 tablespoons lemon juice.
  3. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the apples are tender but not mushy (about 15-20 minutes).
  4. Remove from heat and let cool completely. Remove the whole cloves before using the filling.
