  1. Create foil handles for your slow cooker: Cut three 18x3 inch strips of heavy-duty aluminum foil.
  2. Arrange the foil strips in the bottom of the slow cooker, crisscrossing them like bicycle spokes to create handles.
  3. Lightly spray the foil and the slow cooker with cooking spray.
  4. In a large bowl, combine 1.5 lbs ground beef, 1 packet beefy onion soup mix, 1 cup rolled oats, 2 large eggs, ¾ cup chili sauce, and ½ teaspoon black pepper.
