How to Make Beer
- Dissolve 1 packet (2.25 tsp) of brewer's yeast in 1 cup of warm (100-105°F) water. Add 1 cup of white sugar and 2 cups of liquid malt extract.
- Carefully transfer the mixture to your fermenter, leaving plenty of head space.
- Skim any foam or debris from the surface as needed during fermentation.
- After 72 hours, bottle your beer. Ensure your bottles and caps are sterilized. You can achieve this by boiling them for 10 minutes. Screw-top bottles are highly recommended.
- Allow the beer to condition in the bottles for at least 2-4 weeks before enjoying. This allows for carbonation to develop. Expect to yield approximately 12 bottles.
- Once ready, chill thoroughly and serve.
- Please remember to drink responsibly.
