How to Make Frosty Caterpillar Dessert

  1. Sprinkle 1 cup of cookie crumbs evenly onto a serving platter or shallow dish.
  2. Arrange sherbet scoops in a zigzag pattern on top of the cookie crumbs to form the body of the caterpillar.
  3. Gently press two mini chocolate chips into the first sherbet scoop to create the eyes.
  4. Using a toothpick, carefully create two small holes above the chocolate chip eyes.
  5. Insert one end of the licorice piece into each mini marshmallow to create the antennae.
  6. Insert the other end of the licorice pieces into the holes above the eyes.
  7. Attach a red hot candy to the front scoop as the nose.
  8. Press the candy dots onto the back of the caterpillar to resemble spots.
  9. Garnish with gummy worms.
  10. Serve immediately. For later, cover lightly with plastic wrap and keep frozen until ready to serve.
