How to Make Marbled Orange Julius Fudge
- Grease and flour a 13x9 inch baking pan.
- In a heavy saucepan, combine 2 cups granulated sugar, 1 cup heavy cream, and 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, for 4 minutes, until butter is melted and sugar is dissolved.
- Remove from heat and stir in 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips and 1 cup marshmallow creme until melted and smooth.
- Remove 1 cup of the chocolate mixture and set aside.
- To the remaining chocolate mixture, add 1 teaspoon orange extract and a few drops of orange food coloring. Stir until evenly blended.
- Pour the orange chocolate mixture into the prepared pan.
- Drop spoonfuls of the reserved plain chocolate mixture onto the orange mixture. Swirl with a knife or toothpick to create a marbled effect.
- Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or until completely set. Cut into squares and enjoy!
