How to Make Marbled Orange Julius Fudge

  1. Grease and flour a 13x9 inch baking pan.
  2. In a heavy saucepan, combine 2 cups granulated sugar, 1 cup heavy cream, and 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, for 4 minutes, until butter is melted and sugar is dissolved.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips and 1 cup marshmallow creme until melted and smooth.
  4. Remove 1 cup of the chocolate mixture and set aside.
  5. To the remaining chocolate mixture, add 1 teaspoon orange extract and a few drops of orange food coloring. Stir until evenly blended.
  6. Pour the orange chocolate mixture into the prepared pan.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of the reserved plain chocolate mixture onto the orange mixture. Swirl with a knife or toothpick to create a marbled effect.
  8. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or until completely set. Cut into squares and enjoy!
