How to Make Pretzel Jello

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Crush 1 ½ cups pretzels into fine crumbs. Press firmly into the bottom of a greased 9x13 inch baking pan.
  2. Bake for 8 minutes. Let cool completely.
  3. In a medium bowl, prepare the Jello according to package directions using 1 ¾ cups boiling water and add 1 cup of cold water. Stir until completely dissolved.
  4. Once the Jello mixture has slightly cooled (but is still liquid), gently fold in 8 ounces of whipped topping.
  5. Gently fold in 1 cup of sliced fresh strawberries.
  6. Pour the Jello mixture over the cooled pretzel crust.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the Jello to set completely.
