- Prepare a 9-inch square baking pan by lining it with foil and greasing with nonstick cooking spray or vegetable oil.

- Stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and 1/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon.
- Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature.
- In a stand mixer, beat 4 large eggs on high speed until light, fluffy, and tripled in volume (about 5-7 minutes).
- Gently fold half of the beaten eggs into the chocolate mixture.
- Fold in the remaining eggs until just combined.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Place the pan in a larger roasting pan. Pour hot water into the roasting pan until it comes halfway up the sides of the smaller pan.
