  5. Add the brewed tea, 3 cups of sugar, 1 tablespoon of finely grated orange rind, and 1/4 cup of orange liqueur to a large saucepan. Bring to a rolling boil over medium-high heat.
  6. Boil, stirring constantly, for 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
  7. Let cool for 5 minutes.
  8. Stir in 1 box (1.75 oz) liquid pectin. Return to a rolling boil over medium-high heat.
  9. Boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Skim off any foam with a metal spoon.
  10. For canning: Ladle the hot jelly into hot, sterilized half-pint jars, leaving 1/4 inch headspace. Wipe the jar rims, apply hot sterilized lids and bands, and tighten fingertip tight. Process in a boiling water bath for 5 minutes. For refrigerator jelly: Pour into sterilized jars or containers and refrigerate for at least 4 hours to set.
  11. (Canning only) Remove jars from the canner and let cool completely. Check seals by pressing down on the center of each lid. Any lids that don't make a popping sound are not sealed properly.
