Como fazer Italian Hot Dish
- Cook 1 pound of pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- Spray a large skillet with cooking spray. Brown 1 pound of ground beef, breaking it up with a spoon. Add 1 cup of sliced mushrooms, 1/2 cup chopped onion, and 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper. Cook until the vegetables are softened and the beef is browned. Drain any excess grease.
- Stir in 24 ounces of your favorite tomato sauce, 1 teaspoon dried oregano, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon onion powder, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Place the cooked pasta in an 8x8 inch baking dish coated with cooking spray.
- Top the pasta with the meat sauce and the remaining 1/2 cup of sliced mushrooms.
- Sprinkle 1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese and 4 teaspoons of grated parmesan cheese over the top.
- Cover the baking dish and bake for 35 minutes.
- Uncover the baking dish, sprinkle with the remaining 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese and 4 teaspoons of parmesan cheese.
- Bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the casserole is heated through.
