  4. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together 4 large eggs and 4 large egg yolks until light and frothy.
  5. Whisk in 1 cup heavy cream and 1/2 cup granulated sugar until well combined.
  6. Slowly pour the warm milk mixture into the egg mixture, whisking constantly to prevent scrambling.

  8. Pour half of the coffee cream mixture into a 10-inch pie dish or 6-cup soufflé dish.
