Comment préparer Eaten Mess
- Preheat oven to 130°C (110°C fan/Gas Mark 1). Line two baking trays with greaseproof paper.
- In a clean, grease-free bowl, whisk 4 large egg whites until stiff peaks form. Gradually add 200g caster sugar, whisking continuously until the mixture is smooth and glossy.
- Spoon the meringue mixture onto the prepared baking trays, creating small (approx. 5cm diameter) circles. Leave some space between each meringue.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the meringues are crisp and dry. Let them cool completely on a wire rack.
- In a separate bowl, whip 300ml heavy cream until it forms soft peaks. Be careful not to overwhip.
- Wash and cut 250g of your favorite fresh fruit (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, etc.) into bite-sized pieces.
- Roughly crush the cooled meringues into a large serving bowl. Gently fold in the whipped cream and the prepared fruit until just combined.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
