Inspired by a recipe shared with me by Elyse after I taught her cake decorating in Israel, this is my go-to chocolate cake. So simple, my husband (who struggles with microwaving a hot dog!) successfully baked it. It's the ideal base for any frosting or decoration; simply freeze it overnight for flawlessly smooth icing.
