  9. Beat the mixture vigorously with a wooden spoon until it thickens, loses its gloss, and becomes creamy.
  10. Pour the fudge into a buttered 8x8x2 inch baking pan.
  11. Let the fudge stand at room temperature until completely set and cooled (about 2-3 hours).
  12. Cut into squares and enjoy!
