Comment préparer Pizza Dough
- In a large bowl, combine 1 cup (240ml) warm water, 2 1/4 teaspoons (7g) active dry yeast, 1 teaspoon (5g) sugar, 1 teaspoon (6g) salt, and 2 tablespoons (30ml) olive oil. Stir until the yeast is dissolved and the mixture is smooth.
- Gradually add 3-3 1/2 cups (375-425g) all-purpose flour, one cup at a time, kneading the dough with your hands or a stand mixer until it becomes smooth and elastic. If using a stand mixer, knead for 5-7 minutes with the dough hook attachment. If kneading by hand, knead for 8-10 minutes on a lightly floured surface.
- Lightly oil a large bowl. Place the dough in the bowl, turning to coat. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the dough rise in a warm place for 15-20 minutes, or until doubled in size.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Divide the dough in half. Gently stretch or roll each half to fit two average-sized pizza pans (approximately 12-14 inches).
- Bake the pizza crusts for 20-25 minutes, or until lightly golden brown.
- Remove from the oven. Add your favorite pizza sauce, cheese, and toppings. Return to the oven for 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
