Comment préparer Roasted Pears With Caramel Sauce
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a baking dish large enough to hold the pears in a single layer. Place the dish in the preheated oven until the butter is melted.
- Remove the dish from the oven. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar evenly over the melted butter.
- Arrange 4 ripe but firm pears, cut-side down, in the baking dish.
- Bake for 30 minutes, until the pears are tender.
- Carefully flip the pears over. Baste with the pan juices.
- Return to the oven and bake for another 10-12 minutes, until golden brown and glossy.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
- Transfer pears to dessert plates or bowls.
- In a small saucepan, combine 1/2 cup granulated sugar, 1/4 cup water, 2 tablespoons of butter and a pinch of salt. Cook over medium heat, without stirring, until the sugar dissolves and turns a light amber color. Stir in 1/4 cup heavy cream (carefully, it will bubble). Stir until smooth and glossy.
- Drizzle the warm salted caramel sauce over the roasted pears.
- Top each pear with a dollop of sour cream, whipped cream, vanilla ice cream, or chopped nuts (optional).
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
