Como fazer Cheddar Parmesan Crackers
- In a food processor, combine 2 cups all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon baking powder, 1 1/2 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese, and 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese. Pulse 5 times.
- Add 1 cup (2 sticks) cold unsalted butter, cut into small pieces. Pulse until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- With the food processor running, gradually add 1/4 cup ice water, 1 tablespoon at a time, pulsing until the dough just comes together. Add more water, 1 teaspoon at a time, if needed, until the dough is slightly sticky but not wet.
- Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface. Shape into a 9-10 inch log.
- Wrap tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or up to 2 days. Alternatively, freeze for up to 1 month.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Using a sharp knife, cut the chilled log into 1/4-inch thick slices.
- Arrange slices on ungreased baking sheets, leaving 1 inch between each cracker.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, then flip and bake for another 3-5 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Let cool completely on a wire rack before serving. Enjoy with apple-pear butter or your favorite toppings!
