How to Make 10 Bars

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs, ½ cup powdered sugar, and ½ cup melted unsalted butter. Mix until evenly moistened.
  3. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  4. In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt 1 cup of peanut butter, 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, and ¼ cup of unsalted butter. Stir until smooth and creamy.
  5. Pour the melted peanut butter mixture evenly over the graham cracker crust.
  6. In a separate bowl, melt 6 ounces of semi-sweet chocolate chips and drizzle over the top (optional).
  7. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm, before cutting into 10 bars.

Chef's Tip for Extra Flavor

Want to unlock deeper, more complex flavors? Try toasting your whole spices before grinding them, or blooming ground spices in a little warm oil to enhance their aroma. Deglazing your pan with a bit of stock, wine, or even water after browning ingredients can capture those tasty caramelized bits, adding richness to your dish.
