How to Make 5 Min Chocolate Tart
- In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup heavy cream, 1/4 cup granulated sugar, and a pinch of salt. Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat.
- Once boiling, immediately remove from heat.
- Add 4 ounces (113g) of finely chopped high-quality dark chocolate and 2 tablespoons (1 ounce) unsalted butter. Stir vigorously until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Let the mixture cool slightly (about 2 minutes). Stir in 2 tablespoons whole milk until glossy and smooth.
- Pour the chocolate ganache into your prepared tart shell (store-bought is fine!). Gently tap the tart on the counter to distribute the filling evenly.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the tart to set completely.
- Before serving, garnish with whipped cream and fresh summer berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries).
- Enjoy your incredibly delicious and easy chocolate tart!
Chef's Tip for Extra Flavor
Want to unlock deeper, more complex flavors? Try toasting your whole spices before grinding them, or blooming ground spices in a little warm oil to enhance their aroma. Deglazing your pan with a bit of stock, wine, or even water after browning ingredients can capture those tasty caramelized bits, adding richness to your dish.
