How to Make Awesome Shredded Beef Burritos Or Tacos Crock Pot

  1. Place a 3-4 lb beef chuck roast in your crock-pot.
  2. Sprinkle generously with 2 tablespoons of your favorite taco seasoning, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
  3. Top the roast with 1 (14.5 ounce) can of diced tomatoes, undrained.
  4. Cook on low for 8-10 hours, or on high for 4-6 hours, until the beef is fork-tender.

Chef's Tip for Extra Flavor

Want to unlock deeper, more complex flavors? Try toasting your whole spices before grinding them, or blooming ground spices in a little warm oil to enhance their aroma. Deglazing your pan with a bit of stock, wine, or even water after browning ingredients can capture those tasty caramelized bits, adding richness to your dish.
