How to Make Chocolate Almond Brittle

  3. Mix well with a whisk or spoon.
  4. Microwave on high for 4 minutes, then stir.
  5. Add 1 cup slivered almonds and microwave on high for another 4 minutes. Stir well.

  11. Melt 6 ounces of semi-sweet chocolate chips in a double boiler or in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  12. Dip one side of each brittle piece into the melted chocolate and place it on waxed paper to harden.
