How to Make Crescent Layer Bars

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease and flour a 13x9 inch baking pan.
  3. Unroll two cans (8 oz each) of crescent roll dough into two long rectangles on a lightly floured surface.
  4. Place the dough rectangles into the prepared pan, overlapping slightly if needed.
  5. Press the dough evenly into the bottom and halfway up the sides of the pan to form a crust.
  6. Bake for 5 minutes.
  7. Remove the partially baked crust from the oven.
  8. Evenly sprinkle 1 cup of white chocolate chips, 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips, ½ cup of sliced almonds, and ½ cup of chopped cashews over the crust.
  9. Pour one (14 ounce) can of sweetened condensed milk evenly over the chocolate and nuts.
  10. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the bars are golden brown and the filling is set.
  11. Let the bars cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
  12. Run a knife around the edges of the pan to loosen the bars.
  13. Cool completely for at least 1 hour.
  14. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow the chocolate to fully set.
  15. Cut into 36 (6x6) bars and serve.
