How to Make Crescent Layer Bars
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Grease and flour a 13x9 inch baking pan.
- Unroll two cans (8 oz each) of crescent roll dough into two long rectangles on a lightly floured surface.
- Place the dough rectangles into the prepared pan, overlapping slightly if needed.
- Press the dough evenly into the bottom and halfway up the sides of the pan to form a crust.
- Bake for 5 minutes.
- Remove the partially baked crust from the oven.
- Evenly sprinkle 1 cup of white chocolate chips, 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips, ½ cup of sliced almonds, and ½ cup of chopped cashews over the crust.
- Pour one (14 ounce) can of sweetened condensed milk evenly over the chocolate and nuts.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the bars are golden brown and the filling is set.
- Let the bars cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
- Run a knife around the edges of the pan to loosen the bars.
- Cool completely for at least 1 hour.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow the chocolate to fully set.
- Cut into 36 (6x6) bars and serve.
