How to Make Delicious Ground Beef Enchiladas With Homemade Sauce

  1. Enchilada sauce: in a medium saucepan heat butter, add flour, smoothing and stirring with a wooden spoon
  2. Cook for 1 minute
  3. Add chili powder, cumin and garlic powder and cook for 30 seconds
  4. Slowly add chicken broth and stir to combine
  5. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and cook for 15 minutes
  6. The sauce will thicken and smooth out
  7. Add salt and adjust as desired
  8. Sprinkle cheese over top of sauce and stir in until melted
  9. Enchiladas: while enchilada sauce is simmering, brown ground beef and onion

  18. Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 minutes
  19. Allow to sit for 5 minutes before serving
  20. Serve with desired garnishes
