How to Make No Bake Granola Squares

  1. Measure 4 cups of granola cereal. Level with a spatula and place in a large, resealable plastic bag.
  2. Seal the bag tightly, removing as much air as possible.
  3. Use a rolling pin to coarsely crush the granola. Do this gently to avoid making granola dust.
  4. Set aside 2 tablespoons of the crushed granola.
  5. Pour the remaining crushed granola into a large bowl.
  6. Add the entire 16-ounce can of frosting to the bowl. Use a rubber spatula to scrape out all the frosting.
  7. Add 1 cup of raisins and 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips to the bowl.
  8. Stir everything together with a wooden spoon until well combined.
  9. Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper for easy removal (optional).
  10. Pour the granola mixture into the prepared pan.
  11. Use the back of a spoon to firmly press the mixture evenly into the pan.
  12. Sprinkle the reserved 2 tablespoons of crushed granola on top and press gently.
  13. Cover the pan with plastic wrap or aluminum foil and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until firm.
  14. Once firm, use a sharp knife to cut the granola mixture into 16 squares.
  15. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
