How to Make No Bake Granola Squares
- Measure 4 cups of granola cereal. Level with a spatula and place in a large, resealable plastic bag.
- Seal the bag tightly, removing as much air as possible.
- Use a rolling pin to coarsely crush the granola. Do this gently to avoid making granola dust.
- Set aside 2 tablespoons of the crushed granola.
- Pour the remaining crushed granola into a large bowl.
- Add the entire 16-ounce can of frosting to the bowl. Use a rubber spatula to scrape out all the frosting.
- Add 1 cup of raisins and 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips to the bowl.
- Stir everything together with a wooden spoon until well combined.
- Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper for easy removal (optional).
- Pour the granola mixture into the prepared pan.
- Use the back of a spoon to firmly press the mixture evenly into the pan.
- Sprinkle the reserved 2 tablespoons of crushed granola on top and press gently.
- Cover the pan with plastic wrap or aluminum foil and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until firm.
- Once firm, use a sharp knife to cut the granola mixture into 16 squares.
- Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
