Zubereitung von Baked Spaghetti Olivetti
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare your favorite spaghetti sauce (see notes for suggestions).
- Cook 1 pound of spaghetti according to package directions, but only for about 1/3 of the total cooking time. The pasta should be al dente, still slightly firm to the bite.
- Reserve about 1/4 cup of the pasta cooking water before draining.
- Stir the spaghetti sauce into the cooked spaghetti, adding the reserved pasta water. The mixture should be quite wet.
- Grease a large (9x13 inch) baking dish.
- Layer half of the spaghetti in the dish. Top with 1/3 of the 2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese, and then half of 1 cup of pitted Kalamata olives (sliced).
- Repeat layers: remaining spaghetti, another 1/3 of the mozzarella, and the remaining olives.
- Sprinkle the remaining 1/3 cup of mozzarella cheese over the top.
- Bake for 30 minutes, or until heated through and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh grated Parmesan cheese (about 1/4 cup) and chopped fresh parsley before serving.
