- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare your meat: Trim excess fat from 2 lbs of your favorite meat (beef, pork, chicken, etc.) and brown it in a skillet over medium-high heat. Drain any excess grease.
