  2. In a medium bowl, combine 1 cup finely chopped walnuts, 1/2 cup granulated sugar, and 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon. Mix well.

  8. Using a sharp knife, cut the top layer of phyllo into medium-sized diamond shapes (approximately 4cm apart).
  9. Bake for 50 minutes, or until the baklava is golden brown and crispy.
  10. Remove from the oven and immediately drizzle with 1/4 cup of honey.
  11. While the honey is still warm, carefully press one whole clove into the center of each diamond-shaped piece of baklava.
