  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Season ribs generously with salt and pepper. Place in a large, flame-proof roasting pan.
  3. Pour 2 cups of diced tomatoes over the ribs and scatter 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves on top.
