Como fazer Toasty Cheese Bake

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
Spread mayonnaise and Dijon mustard evenly on one side of each bread slice.
Layer four slices of bread, mustard-side up, in a greased 8x8 inch baking dish.
Sprinkle half of the cheddar cheese, half of the Gruyere cheese, ham (if using), and caramelized onions (if using) over the bread.
Top with the remaining bread slices, mustard-side down.
Pour the egg mixture evenly over the top of the bread.
Sprinkle the remaining cheddar and Gruyere cheese over the egg mixture.
Bake for 55 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the bread is golden brown.
Let cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
